Hotel guests put a smile on seniors’ faces this advent

For the traditional Christmas Wishing Tree campaign the Radisson Blu Hotel Erfurt could put a smile on the faces of the seniors at the Residenz Am Steigerwald Erfurt with the excellent support of it’s own hotel guests. The Charity project was brought to life by the Responsible Business Team of the 4-star hotel in Erfurt and was a complete success. At the end of November this Erfurt Hotel set up a Christmas tree in the foyer, with a total of 70 handmade wish-notes attached for the seniors. Everyone who supported the project by helping to give gifts to the seniors, could take a wish from the tree and give the corresponding gift to the reception staff of this Erfurt hotel. There was also the possibility to support the project with a monetary donation. With help from the management, the hotel’s employees and guests were able to fulfill all of this wishes for the seniors. After only 10 days there were no more wishes left on the hotel’s wishing tree. In mid December the team of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Erfurt organised a small Christmas party for the seniors – not only because, give them the gifts, but also to give them a special day.
