Traffic update in Erfurt

Dear guests, Please note that the first low emission zone in Erfurt applies from October 2012. The environmental zone in Erfurt is an edition of the Thuringian State Administration Office in the framework of the clean air plan. It is used to reduce pollutant emissions from motor vehicles and improve air quality and health. Within the environmental zone cars, commercial vehicles and buses are only permitted if they are marked with a green sticker. Driving in the Green Zone without a valid sticker may be punished with a fine of € 40 and a point in Flensburg.
